Introduction

I live on the Oregon coast, where the color and texture of windblown coastal dune grasses are a visual calligraphy that influences all of my work. A tiny bird’s nest woven from sea grass and twigs unexpectedly inspired a series of large abstract paintings and clay vessels. Here, I live, explore and respond to life through painting, clay sculpture and mixed media.
